We are looking for a full-time Receptionist/ Treatment coordinator to join our team in a top dental specialist practice in Newmarket.
Core duties will involve: reception, booking for clinics (and associated billing/ payments) and liaising on the phone in person with patients and referring practitioners, dental laboratories, supply companies. The successful candidate will provide a key role in managing relationships with patients and other medical professionals.
Skills and experience:
This position would suit someone who has worked as a nurse/ dental assistant or in a healthcare professional role, but the main requirements are the type of personality and work ethic. The successful candidate must however have a tertiary level education, be razor sharp efficient and organised, fluent and clear in written and spoken English, have a great phone manner, proficient with Outlook and basic computer troubleshooting, and have a very kind, warm and caring persona. You must be able to work well with other people in a team environment.
You will find this a rewarding job and you will be able to make a difference to peoples lives. We have a small team, working within a referral based practice, so there is close interaction with other admin, nursing and clinicians. It’s a busy role/job but this does make the days go quick!

The Institute of Dental Implants & Periodontics is a highly regarded specialist dental clinic which also provides education and continuing professional development to the dental community. We are centrally located in Newmarket in a purpose built clinical facility.
