Webinar - "Tooth wear implications in general practise" with Dr Hassan Ahmed, Prosthodontist

Wednesday, 22 April 2020 13:00 -14:30
FREE

Tooth Wear implications in general practise

Tooth wear is a common feature of almost all teeth. It is a natural physiological process and dentists are usually encouraged to monitor and review. However, on some occasions, intervention is warranted. This presentation provides some insights in recognising tooth wear, knowing its different types, how and when to intervene.

By the end of the presentation you should be able to recognise pathological tooth wear, intervene early, identify its causes and make appropriate referrals.

Dr. Hassan Ahmed BDS DClinDent MRACDS Prosthodontist

Hassan graduated from Otago in 2006 with a BDS. He then worked as a general dentist for 8 years returning to Otago university to complete a 3-year prosthodontic clinical doctorate program. After completing his program, he worked for a short period as a prosthodontist in Dunedin city before moving to Auckland in 2019. Currently he is working as a prosthodontist in Auckland. He has special interest in implant therapy and full mouth rehabilitation. He maintains many memberships such as MRACDS, NZAPRD and NZDA.
