Tooth Wear implications in general practice

Tooth wear is a common feature of almost all teeth. It is a natural physiological process and dentists are usually encouraged to monitor and review. However, on some occasions, intervention is warranted. This presentation provides some insights in recognising tooth wear, knowing its different types, how and when to intervene.

By the end of the presentation you should be able to recognise pathological tooth wear, intervene early, identify its causes and make appropriate referrals.
