The Dentine Hypersensitivity Tour - North Shore 1.5 CPD

This presentation covers the causes and contributing factors to DHS, Pathophysiology, Treatment targets, GSK research and impact on patients. We also explore the growing change to the demographic of DHS sufferers, and a history of innovations including Calcium Sodium Phospho-Silicate, a bio glass ceramic material first invented during the Vietnam war for limb loss prevention that eventually found its way to denistry. We also introduce the newest occluding technology featuring a bio adhering Polymer and scienific breakthrough that lead to an interesting new use of Stannous in a non-aqueous formulation for DHS sufferers. The presentation is referenced with a selection of published studies and includes some stunning new graphical videos based on Scanning Electron Microscope imagery.

Presented by Stephen Brunton of GlaxoSmithKline.  Stephen brings a fascinating new CPD presentation on Dentine Hypersensitivity that's sure to help your patients and provide insights into the latest approaches to this common dental condition.

"It’s been an honour to visit Dentists all around the country on this 21 stop Hypersensitivity Tour of NZ. Dentists from Northland to Invercargil have laughed and learned through this informative and at times fun filled presentation. But of course I have left the best till last. As an Aucklander myself I’m so excited to bring this 2019 event to its conclusion with Oral Health Professionals in my home city and put it on at NZDA house on the 4th of October and at Fairway golf course on the 11th of October for our North Shore Dentists. I can’t wait to see our favourite dentists at the event for a short sharp and fun event on those nights..... RSVP is a must though, so don’t miss out, as seats are strictly limited”
