Emcare Core Advanced - March 2021

The New Zealand Resuscitation council, through EMCARE, delivers CORE (Certificate of Resuscitation Emergency Care).  The CORE Advanced course is run over a full day and is the current standard for Dentists performing oran or intravenous sedation (excluding Relative analgesia).

Course Materials:  The NZRC have released a new CORE resource - Resuscitation: A guide for Advanced Rescuers (1st Ed).  This replaces the NZRC Advanced Resuscitation Manual (2012) used to prepare for the course, ECG test and quiz.  This can be hired from EMCARE.  Alternatively, you can purchase a new manual from the New Zealand Resuscitation Council.  A minimum of 3 weeks is recommended for pre-reading and study of the course manual.  Supplementary electronic pre-reading will also be supplied by EMCARE.
